Invictus 300 kV Electron Beam for Flexible Webs

PCT manufactures low-energy (up to 300 kV), self-shielded electron beams with several different energy levels and material handling configurations to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications. The beam shown here is from our Invictus family and is capable of accelerating voltages up to 300 kV and speeds up to 300 m/min at 30 kGy. It features our patented shield roll design, which stabilizes a flexible web of plastic, paper, metal, or non-woven material as it passes through the beam and provides easy access for maintenance. Uses of this beam include but are not limited to the curing of inks, coatings, and adhesives, bio-burden reduction and sterilization, crosslinking of plastic films, and grafting for surface modification.
