Battery Performance Laboratory
This is a safety testing device for large-format batteries (e.g., EV battery packs). It simulates scenarios such as a car crash where the battery is crushed or pierced by a nail, to determine whether it will catch fire or explode. "Horizontal" means the force is applied from the side, making it easy to load and unload heavy batteries. The machine integrates two key tests: Crush test: Uses a hydraulic plate to squeeze the battery and observe its safety performance after deformation. Nail penetration test: Drives a steel nail into the battery to simulate an internal short circuit. The equipment is equipped with safety features such as an explosion-proof chamber and fire suppression system, and complies with international standards including UL 2580 and ECE R100. | This laboratory is equipped with EV walk-in high and low temperature humidity test chamber, PHVE high and low temperature humidity test chamber, cell AB box type high and low temperature humidity test chamber, cell double layer high and low temperature humidity test chamber, two-compartment thermal shock chamber, electronic load, chiller, etc., which can meet the integrated testing of various types of batteries.
