MaxZone® Skirtboard and Dust Containment System

MaxZone Safe+® is a dust containment system that significantly reduces fugitive airborne dust, including up to 93% of Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) dust emissions in sample test reporting. As bulk material travels through the system, fugitive dust is contained, captured, filtered, and chemically bound before it exits the MaxZone. Once the MaxZone Safe+® is installed and operating, the Dustinator® Plus air-filtering unit and MiniPak agglomeration unit run continuously and automatically. The MaxZone Safe+® system consists of three proprietary Benetech technologies that work synergistically to contain, filter, and agglomerate fugitive airborne silica dust: CONTAIN: Its foundation is the MaxZone® Modular Skirtboard System . The MaxZone® effectively contains and seals load zones—reducing fugitive dust and preventing product loss and spillage, while improving material flow. FILTER: Installed at the tail end of the MaxZone is the Dustinator® Plus filtration unit. The Dustinator® Plus captures and filters a majority of the fugitive dust generated by the load zone. AGGLOMERATE: Finally, the MiniPak completes the entire system by administering a brief pulse spray that chemically agglomerates any remaining airborne dust from the Dustinator® Plus before the material exits the containment area. The MaxZone Safe+® was developed under a Research Collaboration Agreement with NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) and designed to meet MSHA-compliance standards.
