PTFE Liner, Ultra-Thin

The Asahi PTFE Liner is manufactured over a SPC mandrel by a filmcast process. This spool-to-spool process is excellent for catheter manufacturing. The mandrel can support during braiding or coiling process. Our liner is of very high quality, lubricious, chemical resistant, thin wall (0.0003” - 0.0005” to 0.002”), and flexible. There is no oversleeving or stretching required like with ram extruded PTFE. Mandrel sizes are from 0.009" to 0.119". OUr PTFE comes with etched surface, but we can extrude a tie-layer (PEBAX, Tecoflex, Pellethane) over the PTFE which adds better adhesion strength to the outer layer of the catheter. We have PTFE Liner in our inventory and can send samples upon request. | Our ACTONE Cable tube is a single-layer, multi-filar, flexible shaft that can be customized to meet you performance requirements for flexibility, torque force, 1-1 torque response, stretch resistance, and pushability. Asahi Filmecc can do secondary processing to the ACTONE with sub-assembly of machined parts and hypotubes as well as add jacketing or extrusions to the shaft.
