Ultra-Thin PTFE Liner

The Asahi PTFE Liner is manufactured by filmcast process that is a spool-to-spool PTFE layering process over our internally drawing SPC mandrel that is sized to the tubing ID. The liner has ultra-thin walls [0.0003"-0.0005"] that is ideal for applications requiring lubricity and flexibility. The core mandrel 0.009"-0.119". We offer tie-layer on the PTFE liner for stronger adhesion to a top layer. Asahi can offer coiling or braiding as a value-add as well as jacketing or extrusion for the top layer which can be a Pebax, Nylon or other thermoplastic polymers. The PTFE Liner is typically shipped on a spool but can be shipped cut to length if a tie-layer or other processing is done. | Our ACTONE Cable tube is a single-layer, multi-filar, flexible shaft that can be customized to meet you performance requirements for flexibility, torque force, 1-1 torque response, stretch resistance, and pushability. Asahi Filmecc can do secondary processing to the ACTONE with sub-assembly of machined parts and hypotubes as well as add jacketing or extrusions to the shaft.
