Slamcore Alert

Slamcore Aware is an infrastructure-free, real-time location and object detection solution that brings full-fleet visibility to human-driven material handling vehicles. Launched in 2024, the compact, industrial-grade module retrofits to forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment, combining a high-resolution camera and NVIDIA Jetson processor with Slamcore’s AI-powered visual SLAM, sensor fusion, and real-time object detection software. It delivers sub-pallet-level positioning and object detection without relying on additional facility infrastructure, streaming accurate location directly into existing fleet management systems through lightweight APIs. By making every vehicle visible, connected, and traceable, Slamcore Aware enables smarter fleet optimisation, improved throughput and data-driven digital transformation for operations of all sizes. Additionally, for facilities with existing AMR and AGV fleets, Slamcore Aware bridges the gap between manual fleets and automation by supporting seamless coordination of all vehicles, and enables scalable automation planning without the cost and complexity of traditional RTLS. Already validated across 30+ sites spanning 5 continents, Slamcore Aware sets a new benchmark for high-performance real-time location services in intralogistics with the lowest possible barrier to entry, making it accessible to SMEs, as well as enterprise customers. | Slamcore Alert is a driver awareness solution designed to instantly improve safety in busy, high-throughput warehouse and factory environments where pedestrians and lift trucks frequently interact. Built as an add-on to Slamcore Aware, it uses AI-powered pedestrian detection combined with precise real-time vehicle localisation to deliver intelligent, context-aware audio-visual alerts directly to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operators. These alerts activate only when a genuine risk is detected, helping drivers respond quickly without becoming desensitised by false warnings. By leveraging the same infrastructure-free hardware as Slamcore Aware, Slamcore Alert provides both real-time protection and post-event insight. Facilities gain access reports on pedestrian–vehicle interactions, enabling them to identify risk hotspots, refine layouts and workflows, and reduce unnecessary exposure. Easy to retrofit and scalable across fleets, Slamcore Alert offers a practical step forward in improving operator awareness, reducing incidents, and enables a safer, more efficient operation.
