The Asahi Torque Coil is a multi-layer, multi-filar flexible shaft that that can be customized to meet flexibility, torque strength, pushability, and 1-1 torque response. The torque coil can be manufactured with round or flat wire to meet performance requirements. The range of OD is from 0.011" to 0.236" (6mm) and the ID range is 0.005" to 0.151". The the 3 Layer torque coil is excellent for bi-directional rotation and is really good for high speed rotation projects that need a shaft with an ID or lumen. We offer value-add service to our components like sub-assembly, jacketing, and extrusions.
